The ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz Chic Choc, brown rum
  • 4 pineapple slices
  • 4 basil leaves
  • 3/4 oz Simple syrup
  • Half a lemon juice


You will need a shaker, a strainer, a jigger, a muddler and a fine mesh cocktail strainer. You will also need a coupe glass and ice.

How To

  1. Muddle the basil and the pineapple directly into the shaker tin.
  2. Add all the ingredients.
  3. Shake with ice for 10 seconds.
  4. Double strain the contents of the shaker into a chilled coupe glass.
  5. Garnish with a basil leaf. Cheers!
